The Young Poker Stars
There are a number of poker players around the world who have gained a certain amount of respect from the Poker World. Some of these players come from different parts of the globe and come from different age groups. Here, we will talk about some of the younger poker players who are slowly gaining more respect and performing impressively in the poker arena today.
One of the young poker super stars to hit the poker arena today is a guy named John Phan. Although Mister Phan has not really won a lot of money during the year 2005, this guy has definitely shown a lot of impressive and strong finishes which has earned him the respect of his peers, as he has had eight finishes at top four on the major tournaments which does include the first place standing for the Ultimate Poker Challenge, and also the Los Angeles Poker Classic.
The next poker super star to watch out for is a man named Ted Forrest, who has accomplished a certain amount of winnings which have inevitably rewarded him with a huge some of money. Well, a million dollars to be exact, not to mention a great amount of respect from other poker players in the poker community. Mister Forrest had made it to the top ten in various significant tournaments in the previous years and has also finished in either a first or second place in separate occasions at the Mirage Poker Showdown.
Another poker star who is fast becoming a popular guy in the poker playing arena, has already earned more than two million dollars in cash during the year 2005. And guess what, this guy is only in his mid twenties! This man is no other than Mister Michael Gracz who has an impressive record in the poker playing competitions and has won a gold bracelet from the World Series of Poker No Limit Hold 'Em championship event. He has also made about a million and a half dollars during the fourth Party Poker Million.
Another soon to be very famous poker champ who is just under his thirties is a guy named Erick Lindgren. This guy has most certainly proven his capacity to be good in the poker game as he has made many strong finishes during his rising career. He was able to gain himself various awards in poker and was able to earn a huge amount of money during the World Series of Poker tournament circuit located in Atlantic City.
These are only a few of the young people who have gained the respect of the international poker world.
